Today on the small biz feature blog post we have Tessa !! We have been lucky enough to call Tessa our friend for quite a few years and have been able to watch her grow her biz and follow her passion. She's pretty well known in the area as the nail queen and she 100% deserves that title. Tessa is one of those people who never stops learning and growing, she isn't afraid of hard work and chasing her dream !
Not only is Tessa an extremely talented nail tech but she is also a wonderful human being. She treats her clients like family and will always listen and give great advice, or hype you up.
Wind & Flame works really closely with Tessa, and a lot of our boudoir clients go to see her before coming in for their session. We offer referral discounts through each other because we so often see each others clients! Currently during the lockdown Tessa is selling custom press on nails, as well as nail removal kits !

Hey all I’m Tess!
I’m a 28 year old mom of 2, and I’ve been married to my best friend for 6 years and together for 9. I was born and raised in the Owen Sound area, and currently call Rockford home. My nail journey started in October 2017. I did nails on and off for a few years before switching to full time in July 2019, and have been committed to the industry ever since!
My studio is located inside Hermosa salon at 925 2nd ave east, downtown Owen sound.
I currently offer acrylics, gel manicures, gel pedicures, and kids mani/pedis! My favourite service has always been and will always be acrylics! I enjoy long, detailed sets with lots of gems and designs. My absolute favourite to do are ombre, milk bath, and encapsulated art.
The pandemic has shut me down multiple times, with each shutdown causing the loss of clients. I’ve been able to rebuild each time only to take one step forward and two steps back. I hope this lockdown will be our last!!
My perfect day at work would be multiple freestyle sets, I love being able to express my creativity, and watching my vision come to life. Nothing beats my clients reaction when they see the final result!
