an evening in the autumn
Holly has been a long time client of mine, dating back to when I strictly photographed horses and horse shows. I did a photo session of her and her mare this past winter and it was out of this world beautiful !! When Holly reached out to me this fall about a session of her and her boyfriend I couldn't have been more excited !
It was a pretty dreary autumn day with the sun only barely peaking through the clouds, but the love and chemistry these two shared could light up the whole sky ! We spent most of the session chatting about life and catching up on the cool things that had happened since we last saw each other. They told me about the soon to be new addition to their family, a beautiful little Australian shepherd puppy that they had actually just gone to visit the day of their session. It wasn't long before they could bring her home ! A puppy homecoming session is absolutely on the horizon !!
I do a lot of my photo sessions on my property here in Kemble, ON so I gave them a quick little tour and told them all about the history of the property and our plans for the future ( hint* cozy cabin set is cominnnggg*) . As we walked back to the trail that runs along the side of the property it was evident that these two had this beautiful connection, as I expected the "poses" we went through were an absolute breeze. Their hands just kind of ....fit together and their laughs were contagious !
As always, it was an amazing session filled with so many memories and moments that even me just being the lucky photographer that got to capture their love will cherish forever.
